After breakfast, we leave Fes and start our trip through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We stop at Ifrane, known for its clean streets and European look, then visit the cedar forest of Azrou, where you can see wild monkeys. We continue to Midelt for lunch, then drive through the beautiful Ziz Valley, full of palm trees and small villages. In the afternoon we arrive at Merzouga, where your camel is waiting. Enjoy a camel ride into the dunes and watch the sunset in the Sahara. At night, have dinner and enjoy Berber music by the campfire. Overnight in a desert camp under the stars.
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes, a beautiful and peaceful moment. After breakfast, ride the camel or take the 4×4 back to Merzouga. We drive to Rissani, an old trading town famous for its local market. Then we continue through many small villages and palm oases until we reach the stunning Todra Gorge, where the rock walls rise high above the river. You can take a short walk inside the gorge to feel the cool air. In the afternoon we head to the Dades Valley, known for its amazing rock formations called “Monkey Fingers.” Dinner and overnight in a riad or hotel in Dades.
After breakfast, we drive along the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs, full of old fortresses and palm groves. We stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, famous for rose products, and continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa because many movies were filmed here. You can visit the Taourirt Kasbah or the movie studios if you like. Later, we go to Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk around the village and climb to the top for a great view. Dinner and overnight in a hotel near Ait Ben Haddou.
After breakfast, we start our last drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260 meters. You will see small Berber villages, farmlands, and beautiful mountain views. There will be stops for tea and photos along the way. In the afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech, where your driver will drop you at your hotel or riad. End of the tour with great memories and beautiful photos from your Moroccan journey.
