Your journey begins from Fes after breakfast. You’ll pass through Ifrane, a lovely mountain town famous for its European-style streets and clean air. Then continue to Azrou, where you can walk in the cedar forest and maybe see the Barbary monkeys. The drive continues through small Berber villages surrounded by mountains. Lunch in Midelt, known for apple farms and quiet mountain views. Free evening and overnight in Midelt.
After breakfast, you’ll cross the Tizi n’Talghamt pass and enter the wide landscapes of the Ziz Valley. Stop for photos of palm trees and old kasbahs that line the valley. Continue through Erfoud, known for fossils and desert culture. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where the dunes of Erg Chebbi rise like golden waves. Take a camel ride into the desert, enjoy the sunset, and reach your Berber camp. Dinner, music, and overnight under the stars in the Sahara.
Wake early to see the sunrise over the dunes, one of the most peaceful views in Morocco. After breakfast, leave the camp and drive to Rissani, where you can explore the local market and taste Berber pizza. Then continue toward Tinghir, where you’ll walk inside Todra Gorge, a natural canyon with high cliffs and cool air. Later, drive to Dades Valley, known for its “Monkey Fingers” rock formations and beautiful landscapes. Dinner and overnight in a riad or hotel in Dades Valley.
After breakfast, we drive along the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs, passing old clay villages and green oases. Stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, known for rose products, then continue to Ouarzazate, where many movies were filmed. Visit the Taourirt Kasbah or the film studios if you wish. In the afternoon, we head to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site and one of the most famous ksars in Morocco. Walk around the old village and enjoy the sunset view from the top. Dinner and overnight near Ait Ben Haddou.
After breakfast, we drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2260m altitude. Along the way, stop for photos of Berber villages and mountain landscapes. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and drop off at your hotel or riad. End of the tour with unforgettable memories from Fes to Marrakech through the Sahara Desert.
