Your driver will meet you in Casablanca. You’ll start by visiting the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in Africa. Then continue to Rabat, the capital city, to see the Hassan Tower and the Oudayas Kasbah by the sea. In the afternoon, drive north through the green hills to reach Chefchaouen, the Blue Pearl of Morocco. You’ll have the evening to explore the blue streets and relax in a cozy riad.
After breakfast, leave Chefchaouen and drive toward the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a beautiful archaeological site full of mosaics and history. Then visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to see the famous Bab Mansour gate and Lahdim Square. Continue to Fes, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad inside the medina.
Spend the day exploring the old medina of Fes with a local guide. You’ll visit the famous Al-Qarawiyyin University, the tanneries, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Royal Palace. Walk through the narrow streets full of colors, spices, and handmade crafts. Fes is one of the most authentic cities in Morocco, and you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time. Overnight in Fes.
After breakfast, drive south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, a clean and calm town known as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” then visit the Cedar Forest to see monkeys. Continue through the Ziz Valley with its green palm groves before arriving in Merzouga. In the afternoon, take a camel ride into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and watch the sunset. Enjoy dinner and Berber music around the fire in your luxury desert camp under the stars.
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the desert. After breakfast, ride your camel back and start the drive toward Todgha Gorge, a breathtaking canyon with high cliffs and a river running through it. It’s a great place for short walks and photos. Then continue to Dades Valley, known for its beautiful rock formations and red mountains. Dinner and overnight in a traditional riad.
After breakfast, continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs until you reach Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage village used as a movie location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Explore the old kasbah before driving through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech by evening. Overnight in a riad near the medina.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided visit of Marrakech. You’ll see the Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, and Majorelle Garden. Walk through the busy souks filled with colors and smells, then relax at Jemaa el-Fna square with mint tea while watching snake charmers and musicians. Afterward, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your amazing 7-day Morocco adventure.
