Upon your arrival in Marrakech, our driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your riad in the medina. Depending on your arrival time, you can walk around the lively Jemaa El-Fna square, full of musicians, food stalls, and local charm. It’s your first touch with the Moroccan atmosphere. Overnight in Marrakech riad with breakfast.
After breakfast, your local guide will take you on a walking tour of Marrakech. Visit Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the colorful souks filled with spices, lamps, and crafts. You’ll learn about Moroccan history and architecture while exploring hidden corners of the medina. In the afternoon, you can visit Majorelle Garden or relax at your riad. Overnight in Marrakech.
We start early in the morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. The views are breathtaking with Berber villages, winding roads, and snowy peaks. The first stop is the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for many movies. You’ll walk through its ancient mud houses and enjoy a great panoramic view. Later, we continue to Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight stay in a local hotel.
After breakfast, we visit the Taourirt Kasbah before heading toward Skoura Oasis, a green valley filled with palm trees and old kasbahs. Then we continue through the Valley of Roses, known for rose plantations and handmade beauty products. You can stop at small cooperatives to see how locals make rose water. In the afternoon, we drive along the Dades Valley, famous for its strange rock shapes and mountain roads. Overnight in a charming riad with dinner included.
Today the adventure continues through one of Morocco’s most beautiful landscapes. We stop at Todra Gorge, where high cliffs rise beside a small river is perfect for photos and a short walk. Then, we drive through Erfoud and Rissani before reaching Merzouga. In the late afternoon, your camels will be waiting for a sunset ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You’ll arrive at your desert camp where dinner, Berber drums, and starry skies await you. Overnight in a desert tent.
Wake up early to enjoy the magical sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, we explore the desert surroundings. Visit Khamlia village, famous for Gnawa music played by people with roots from Sudan and Mali. You’ll also visit nomad families living in tents and learn about their way of life. Later, we visit fossil areas and local markets in Rissani. Return to your hotel in Merzouga for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we leave the desert and drive north through the Ziz Valley, filled with date palms and small villages. Stop for pictures of the Ziz River and green valleys before reaching Midelt for lunch. The road continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains until we arrive in Azrou, where you can see wild monkeys in the cedar forest. Dinner and overnight stay in a mountain guesthouse.
On the last day, after breakfast, we stop in Ifrane, a clean and quiet city often called “Switzerland of Morocco.” You’ll have time for photos or coffee before heading to Fes. The road offers beautiful scenery of forests and small towns. Arrival in Fes by afternoon, drop-off at your riad or hotel.
