Your journey starts in Tangier where our driver will meet you and start the road to Chefchaouen, the blue city in the Rif Mountains, you will pass through beautiful green hills and small Berber villages, Chefchaouen is one of the most peaceful and photogenic towns in Morocco with blue-painted walls and narrow streets, after exploring this charming town and having lunch you will continue toward Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco, where you will spend the night in a riad inside the old medina, overnight in Fes.
Today is a full day to discover Fes, after breakfast, you will meet your local guide and start exploring the oldest medina in Morocco, you will walk through narrow alleys filled with shops, colorful doors, and the smell of spices, you will visit the famous Al Quaraouiyine University, the tanneries where leather is made, and the beautiful Bou Inania Madrasa, Fes is full of culture, tradition, and stories at every corner, in the evening, you can relax in your riad and enjoy Moroccan dinner, overnight in Fes.
After breakfast, you will leave Fes and travel south through Ifrane, a clean mountain town also called the Switzerland of Morocco, then continue to Azrou where you might see monkeys in the cedar forest, after lunch in Midelt, the road passes through the beautiful Ziz Valley with thousands of palm trees and old kasbahs, in the afternoon you will reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, your camels will be waiting to take you across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi while the sun goes down, at the desert camp you will enjoy Berber music, dinner, and a magical night under the stars, overnight in a desert camp.
You will wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes, after breakfast and a camel ride back, the journey continues to Rissani where you can visit its traditional market, then travel to Todra Gorge, a beautiful canyon with high red cliffs perfect for walking and taking pictures, later you will drive through the Dades Valley known for its amazing rock formations and green fields between the mountains, you will spend the night in a hotel in Dades surrounded by natural beauty, overnight in Dades Valley.
After breakfast, you will drive through the Valley of Roses and reach Ouarzazate, a city known as the Hollywood of Africa for its movie studios, then visit the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site where many famous films were shot, after visiting this historical place, you will cross the High Atlas Mountains with their winding roads and beautiful views until you reach Marrakech, the red city full of energy and culture, our driver will drop you off at your hotel or riad, this is the end of your 5 Days Morocco Tour from Tangier to Marrakech.
